About the Trust

The Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable and educational organisation, was constituted on October 26, 1973, in Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, by the charitable Mohamed Sathak Family.

The Trust established the first self-financing engineering college in the nation in 1984 at Kilakarai.

The trust has a proven track record of managing outstanding educational institutions in a variety of disciplines, including Engineering and Technology, Arts and Science, Schools, Teacher Training College, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Architecture and Medical Sciences; it currently operates 18 educational institutions in Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram and Chennai.
